I just downloaded this app and was very excited to use itbfor my familys upcoming trip to nyc for christmas and it froze and will not reboot.
Organized and well curated lists to do in the city for fellow hyperactive New Yorkers. Excellent app to get you inspired and going. What an excellent resource!
Well its hard to believe it took them this long to finally hire sone real interaction designers and come up with a useful well done app that doesnt crash or publish weird unfinished work as their NYTimes iPad app does all the time. The NYTimes has the worlds best writers and huge stores of knowledge and resources about NYC and this app conveniently and simply puts many of them at your fingertips. A few things Id like to be able to set my own location so even if I am traveling somewhere else in the world I can get NY local info (and advise others). Currently only seems to read my GPS location halfway around the world and of course tells me there is nothing nearby. Also there should be a search by food type drop down menu so vegans or those who only eat a certain kind of food or are looking for a specific ethnic food can find it. Overall I love this free app better than bigger clunkier (urban daddy) apps. Ive already planned several day trips for when I return and can highly recommend you give it a spin.
Love this app! Its updated regularly with new & interesting places to check out. I use it all the time & its never steered me wrong.
Great content, attractive and intelligent arrangement. Simple to use. Bingo. Nice job NYT
